Event: Photo exhibition: the most beautiful country
About: If you still haven’t visited this photo exhibition, this is your last chance! Explore every corner of the biggest country in the world with the best Russian and international photographers. The exhibition is a large-scale media project dedicated to wildlife conservation. It’s aim is to educate the public and aspire respect for the environment through the art of photography.

Event: Film screening Flame & Citron
About: The Danish Cultural institute will host the first film club of 2017 with the award-winning movie Flame & Citron. The film is one of the most expensive movie productions in Denmark. The story is based on true accounts from eyewitnesses who met Bent Faurschou Hviid (Flame) and Jørgen Haagen Schmith (Citron), two resistance fighters in charge of liquidating Danish informers during the Second World War.

 Event: Festival tattoo and body piercing
About: Discover the best local tattoo artists during the two-day festival at ETAGI. During the festival you can visit different lectures about the history of tattoo and piercing cultures and how they vary from country to country. You can also visit and admire the large exhibition of sketches. And yes, professional tatoo artists will be present if you’re ready to get your ink!

Event: Donation day at ID39

Event: Concert Внутреннее Сгорание
About: On Saturday, the wine bar Do Immigration is hosting a concert by the St Petersburg band Внутреннее Сгорание (in English: Internal Combustion). The band came together in 2011 and has released two albums (find their songs here), recorded three official clips (watch them here) and played numerous concerts in various cities in Russia. Drink wine and listen local!

Event: Stanley Kubrick Retrospective
About: The programme will highlight three of American director Stanley Kubrick’s masterpieces which were adopted from famous novels: A Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon and the all the mad thriller, the Shining.

Event: Yellow Stars, charity concert by St Petersburg Philarmonic
About: Next Tuesday will be dedicated to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The concert will feature Kancheli: Night Pray for Clarinet, Strings and Tape, Wieniawski: Legende for Violin and Strings, Shostakovich: Symphony No.9, Marija Rolnikaitė: Excerpts from Children’s War Book, Tchaikovsky Children’s album, excerpts. Event: Italian pizza festival in Mojo
About: All pizza lovers are invited for a week of Italian pizza which will be held during the festival in Mojo restaurants. Participants of the event will be able to try the eight kinds of popular dishes – from classic Salami and Margherita to the original pizza sauce chipotle and spicy Florence with sausages and paprika.
