About: The famous LGBT film festival Side by Side is back in town, but this time only for a day with the Hungarian movie Another Way. The biographical movie tells the story of a lesbian journalist and an army officer’s wife who fall in love in the aftermath of the failed 1956 uprising.

Event: I Am Waiting For You Last Summer Concert
About: The electronic and instrumental music of I Am Waiting For You Last Summer arrives in St Petersburg. The Russian trio band, formed by Alexander Sokolov, Evgeny Popov, and Lev Nikitin, on tour in different Russian cities, defined themselves playing post-rock music mixed with indie electronic.

Event: DOT Weekend
About: This weekend at the underground nightclub DOT will include different DJs: it starts on Friday with Hoopa, Jax, Alexey Brylev and will end on Saturday with Sariin, Munt Berry, and others.

Event: Tour of Singer House
About: Explore one of the symbols of St Petersburg’s architecture with a local guide. The destination this Saturday will be the Singer House, also known as Dom Knigi (House of Books). During the tour, you will learn the secrets of this outstanding building and you will have the chance to explore interior rooms that are usually closed to the public. At the end of the tour, you can climb on the rooftop of the building for an additional fee.

Event: Tatort screening
About: Two episodes of the famous German crime TV series Tatort will be screened at LenDok Open Studio. Organised by the Goethe Institute in St Petersburg, the screenings aim to give an overview of the TV format and to talk about German police work with Professor Wolfgang Spira, who will share his experiences with the public.

Event: Crime and Punishment Premiere
